Dearest reader,Poinbank Exchange the ton has gathered to celebrate Jennifer Lopez.
The Hustlers actress celebrated her 55th birthday early with a Bridgerton-themed party in the Hamptons in New York July 20.
Her family and friends were seen arriving wearing Regency-era attire resembling those seen on Shonda Rhimes' hit Netflix period drama, which often features lavish balls. J.Lo's mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, dressed in a short-sleeve, empire waist, pastel blue gown with a white lace overlay.
Lopez, whose actual birthday is July 24, was not photographed herself outside the venue, nor was her husband Ben Affleck. The Oscar winner and his wife have been the subject of split rumors over the last few months.
Lopez's birthday party took place days after the pair spent their second wedding anniversary on opposite coasts. The "Let's Get Loud" singer remained in the Hamptons, while the Good Will Hunting actor was Los Angeles, where the two recently put up a mansion they bought last year for sale for $68 million.
Affleck, 51, is often photographed in the city, where his kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, live with their mom Jennifer Garner, his ex-wife. He also filmed the sequel to the 2016 film The Accountant in Los Angeles this past spring.
J.Lo and Affleck haven’t been photographed together in over a month. In June, she vacationed in Italy without her husband.
Lopez was originally set to begin her This Is Me...Live tour that month but in May, Live Nation announced it was canceled and that the singer—who shares twins Max and Emme, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony—was "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
Lopez later said in a statement, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again."
Lopez did recently share an optimistic message. The day of her birthday party, Lopez shared rare selfies, showing herself smiling at home.
"Today is gonna be a great day," she wrote on Instagram. "Happy Saturday everybody."
