2024 MTV VMAs: See Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and More at the After-Parties

While the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards has ended, the celebrations are far from over.
In fact, after the show is often when most of the night’s nominees and winners really begin to have fun—and there was much to celebrate.
After all the Moon Person trophies were handed out, Taylor Swift emerged as the evening’s big winner, taking home the win in seven categories. (No surprise there, given she was the most-nominated artist heading into the night with 12.)
Adding seven more astronauts to her previous collection of 23, the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer also became the solo artist with the highest number of VMAs trophies. Beyoncé is just behind her with 26 individual wins, though she has a total of 30 with collaborative wins with husband Jay Z and Destiny's Child.
Other big earners of the evening included Post Malone, who emerged victorious in 5 categories for his work on Taylor’s “Fortnight.” Meanwhile, the night’s host Megan Thee Stallion tied with Eminem when she earned two, Best Art Direction for “BOA” and Best Trending Video for “Mamushi.” Eminem ended the night with Best Hip-Hop and Best Visual Effects for “Houdini.”
And while many stars shined on the VMAs red carpet (see all the fashion here), their looks at the after-parties were equally brilliant.
Some stand-out swaps included Sabrina Carpenter trading in her white vintage Bob Mackie gown—the same dress Madonna wore to the 1991 VMAs—for a white lace 1996 Gucci by Tom Ford mini dress from Tab Vintage before heading into a post-show party at Electric Lady Studios.
Similarly, while the “Bewjeweled” singer was a stand-out on the VMAs carpet in a black and yellow plaid number from Christian Dior’s Resort 2025 collection. For the event itself, she changed into a dazzling custom Monse dress adorned with a UFO in the front. She took that vibe to the after-party, arriving in a UFO-inspired Monse top and skirt that was equally captivating.

The "Karma" singer was ready to party in her UFO-inspired Monse top and skirt after making history at the VMAs and it was definitely a well-deserved celebration. After all, she became the first performer to win Artist of the Year twice and the first artist to earn Video of the Year for three consecutive years.
Sabrina might've been working late 'cause she's a singer, but she was also partying late for the same reason. And she did it in style with the white sheer 1996 Gucci by Tom Ford lace dress from Tab Vintage.
The "Sunflower" singer is in his country era, arriving at the after-party at Electric Lady Studios in cowboy boots and a suede jacket.
The "Bar Song" singer left in style for the after-party, donning a red bomber jacket and denim jeans.
After winning the award for Best Afrobeats at the VMAs, the "Water" singer was glowing in her deconstructed denim look.
The "Greedy" singer and the "Stay" singer were couple goals while on their way to a bumpin' VMAs after-party.
For a fortnight there, the songwriter and Big Little Lies star enjoyed their night out.
